Before/After School Care

Enrollment for the 2025-2026 Morning Daycare.

At this time, we will not be offering after school care. This decision has been made based on staffing. 

 

Please take note of the following relative to our morning child care program as all directions must be followed for a child to be considered “enrolled”:

● Morning child care will run from 6:30 am to 7:20 am. At 7:20 am, Silvia School doors will be open to all students and those students in our morning child care will transition to their homerooms.

● Students enrolled in morning child care should NOT be dropped off at Silvia until 6:30 am. Students enrolled in morning child care are NOT allowed to congregate on Silvia campus prior to child care beginning at 6:30 am.

● Morning child care drop off is at the main entrance to Silvia.

● Our enrollment for morning child care will be capped at 30 students per day to allow for appropriate supervision. Enrollment will be based on a first-come/first-serve basis

● Only enrolled students are allowed to attend morning child care.

● Families will be notified within a 24 hour period of enrollment whether or not their child(ren) has been accepted into morning child care based on the 30 student enrollment capacity. ● If/when our 30 student enrollment capacity is met, families who enroll will be put on a waiting list based on first come/first serve basis.

● Morning child care will cost $4.00 per day. Payment can be made with cash or a check made out to “Fall River Public Schools.” If you are in need of financial assistance please contact Silvia School and ask to speak to one of our Student Adjustment Counselors. ● Students may be unenrolled from morning child care at any time if school rules are not followed and/or morning child care protocol is not followed (i.e. drop off time, payment)
